Setpoint

Security

Last updated October 4, 2026

Setpoint protects your customer records and keeps financial sign-off with your team.

Who can act

Staff tools only work for signed-in team members. Sara works inside the booking and messaging rules you set. Anything that commits money, changes a contract or changes a job’s scope waits for sign-off from a named person on your staff.

Contracts and signatures

Signing links use 256 random bits, and we store only their hash. The customer signs the exact text your team approved. Customers sign through DocuSign or Setpoint’s own signing page.

Your job software

The connection to Housecall Pro is held to a fixed list of allowed actions. Sara reads your schedule and books new jobs into it. She cannot delete your customer records or change your invoices.

Where data lives

Setpoint runs on Vercel and keeps shop data in a managed Postgres database on Neon. Signing pages are kept out of analytics. Before setup, we put in writing which services process your data and how long it is kept.

Signed status updates from DocuSign are checked before we accept them; an update we cannot verify is refused.
